PARASAILING AND JET BOAT OFFER POWERBOATING FUN!

parasailing

In addition to our Ocean Surfari snorkeling and fishing excursions, there’s more fun to be had on the waters around St. Thomas and St. John.

Parasailing is a thrilling way to see the U.S. Virgin Islands with a birds-eye view. Our affiliates at Parasail Virgin Islands invite you to come fly with them and experience the thrill of an offshore powerboat ride, parachuting, ballooning and gliding all in one “action-packed adventure” at a fraction of the cost.

And it’s easy. If you can walk onto the parasail boat by yourself, and if you can sit down, you should be able to parasail. The harness is much like a swing at the park with a backstrap. You don’t even have to hold yourself in.

A standard flight uses 600 feet of line. On average a 600 foot towline will put you 350 feet up in the air. It is possible to see the curvature of the earth on a flight with the right wind, ocean condition, boat traffic and other factors.

Parasail Virgin Islands takes children as young as 6 years old and have also flown some 95 years old. The minimum weight to fly alone is around 150 pounds but it does increase and decrease throughout the day. The maximum combined weight per flight is approximately 450 pounds. Wind and weather conditions change and will determine whether individuals can fly single, tandem or triple.

With their 100 percent safety record, parasailing on St. Thomas and St. John is fun for the whole family when you book an experience with Parasail Virgin Islands.

The parasailing adventure embarks from Sapphire Beach Marina on the East End of St. Thomas.
