Join us aboard Reef Surfari for the legendary Do It All Trip — the ultimate Virgin Islands experience of snorkeling, island flavor and sunset celebration. This is the excursion that refuses to choose just one highlight … because why would it?
We cast off at 2:00 p.m. from American Yacht Harbor in Red Hook, St. Thomas, with a quick swing by Cruz Bay at 2:30 p.m. to pick up our St. John guests. From there, it’s full throttle into paradise as we visit two top-tier Virgin Islands snorkel sites known for crystal-clear water, vibrant coral, sea turtles, and schools of colorful tropical fish and marine life.
Once you’ve had your fill of underwater magic, we dial up the flavor. Freshly baked pizza —included with your trip — is picked up from Pizza Pi in Christmas Cove near Great St. James (most of the year), because nothing tastes better than pizza earned by snorkeling. The open bar flows with rum punch, Painkillers, beer, sodas and water, with alcohol service beginning after snorkeling is complete at the second stop.
Then comes the grand finale. We cruise around the islands of St. Thomas and St. John, chasing the golden hour at happy hour. The captain turns up the music, the mates keep the drinks coming, and the deck transforms into a floating sunset dance party. As the sky melts into pinks and golds, we return to St. John between 6:45-7:15 p.m., then back to St. Thomas — timed perfectly with the season’s sunset.

- Please arrive 30 minutes to 1 hour early for check-in – we cannot hold the boat for late arrivals
- Refunds will not be issued for late arrivals
- Be sure to bring a towel
- We do not allow SPRAY sunscreens to be used on the boat.
- All tours are weather dependent and subject to meeting minimum participant requirements.
- 10% Deposit due on booking. Remaining balance will be charged 24 hours prior to your trip.
- 3% Credit Card Transaction Fee associated with every booking
- You can cancel up to 72 hours in advance of your trip for a full refund.
- If you cancel less than 72 hours before the trip start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
- This experience requires good weather. If it’s cancelled due to poor weather, you will be offered the chance to rebook to a different date or a refund of the amount you paid.
- If you have a child under 2 years old, they can go for free however you will need to call and make the reservation directly with us over the phone
- WE DONATE $5 to whichever program you choose when booking your reservation be sure to let us know where you would like that money to go. We are supporting Sea Turtles, Coral Restoration and Youth Programs (see our website for more details)
Just like the servers and bartenders at restaurants, our boat crew is in the service industry and work hard to earn your gratuities. A 20% gratuity will be added to any groups of 6 or larger on Reef Surfari trips.

Had a great sail with this crew out of Red Hook. Their location is right in front of Tarpon’s by the ferry terminal. $100 for an all day trip with drinks and pizza included. You’ll see loads of turtles, some squid and maybe a shark at Lovango.

it was hands down one of the best experiences we’ve ever had! From start to finish, the crew ensured a perfect blend of adventure, comfort, and fun.
The boat ride was fantastic, offering stunning views of the Virgin Islands. The crew was incredibly welcoming and supportive, especially for first-time snorkelers. They patiently guided everyone, making sure we felt comfortable and ready to explore the underwater world. Once in the water, they pointed out the best spots to see vibrant coral reefs, sea turtles, fascinating marine life, and even a sunken ship—it was like swimming in a dream!
After all the water activities, the day got even better when hot, delicious pizzas were delivered right to the boat from a floating pizza kitchen in the ocean! It was such a unique and unexpected treat, and the perfect way to refuel.
To top it all off, we ended the day with a lively dance party on the boat. It was the perfect ending to an already incredible day.

This was a fantastic way to end our stay in St. Thomas! We were able to see sea turtles, sting rays, dolphins, and a whole lot more! The captain and crew mate were very welcoming and helpful! Would definitely recommend!

This was so much fun! This was my first time snorkeling- as I’m sure everyone could tell- but they made it simple, with all gear needed and helpful tips. Pizza delivery by Pizza Pi was delicious after snorkeling in two locations. Bottomless drinks after all snorkeling and a dance party, rounded out by a beautiful sunset cruise. This adventure is truly an amazing deal with everything that’s offered. Highly recommend this tour and we had a blast with Capt Andy, Jamie and Sydney!

What amazing experience. Reasonably priced, booked everything online. You arrive 15 minutes early to check in at their retail shop. Parking is always a challenge in St. Thomas we were fortunate to park at the parking structure across the street. We were greeted by Jamie who was the host for the adventure. She was very nice and friendly the whole trip. Drinks and snacks are included, also after you are done snorkeling alcoholic beverages are available. Our pilot Andy was extremely professional and knowledgeable, as a boat pilot myself we chatted about the vessel. Which was immaculate and well maintained which put my mind at ease. We went to two locations to snorkel, first was Maho Bay, St. John where we saw several sea turtles which was amazing. Then we went to St. James which is a private island and the reef there was incredible with tons of marine life and we also saw more turtles. They provide the snorkels, masks, fins and a flotation device FYI, we brought our own. The overall experience was amazing I would recommend if you are either vacationing on St. Thomas or St. John. Both Jamie and Andy were excellent hosts every step of the way.

My family went on the “Do it all” sunset trip today and we had such a great time. Dallas was a super fun captain and the crew ladies were amazing. Best party on a boat!

Had a wonderful experience with captain Andy & his 2 ladies I forget their names!! We got to see sea turtles, sting rays, and ship wreck underwater!! Had delicious pizza, & beautiful sun set!! Highly recommend!!

This was the second year for our party of seven spending the day with Ocean Surfari and they didn’t disappoint!!
Our group ranged in age from 14 to 76 and there was something for everyone! Great snorkeling, great music, an outstanding sunset and the pizza and drinks were on point!
We can’t say enough about how amazing this tour is!! The crew was professional, attentive, yet fun!

We had a great day snorkeling at 2 different locations. A pizza dinner was delivered to the boat The captain and crew were informative and a lot of fun. The spot they found for sunset was breathtaking. We will definitely be sure to see you the next time we are back on St John’s!!

Fabulous and absolutely worth it experience! Everyone we met were good vibes! The Captain went above and above and beyond for me because I don’t know how to swim and was scared of the open ocean but my goal was to see at least one turtle. He swam and towed me to the area where the turtles were and it was amazing to snorkel and see some turtles. The pizza was delicious! Drinks were delicious also especially painkiller! Shoutout to the mate! She was super helpful in getting our gear on as well as those delicious drinks.The dance party was so fun as well! Prepare for a good night’s rest after this experience 🤣

This excursion was the highlight of our entire trip. You can’t beat it for the price. You get an entire 5 hours for only $99.00. They also were very accommodating for my gluten issue and made my very own personal pizza. We got to see sea turtles, a sting ray, plenty of tropical fish and a sunken ship. They played some very upbeat island music and kept the trip very fun. I would totally do this again. I give a big shout out to the island cowboy captain, Dallas for making it so fun plus all of the other captains that were on the boat.

We went with them on the "Friends of the VI NP" snorkeling excursion. It was a great trip. Stopped in two places and had about an hour at each spot. Plenty of different fish and sea turtles. The crew guides were very knowledgeable about the marine life and ecosystem. Great Job!

Great and inexpensive, snorkeling, pizza and sunset ride! Our hosts were awesome and brought us to amazing places where we were able to swim right next to sea turtles! They ordered pizza from Pizza Pi, which is a boat that makes pizza on a boat and they drives them out to you! Music was going the whole time, and there was an open bar as well! These guys are highly recommended!!

I took the "Do It All Trip: Snorkel, Pizza & Sunset Cruise" tour on February 1, 2024. I paid $104.
Before I signed up for the tour at their retail store in Cruz Bay, I asked if they had vegan option for pizza. Both of their staffs who were there then said yes. I asked again when I checked in on the day of cruise, and the staff at the retail store (different person than the two I had spoken with) said yes.
But there was no vegan pizza. All pizzas had cheese on them. The captain offered me salad as an alternative, which wasn't an acceptable alternative to pizza in my book. After two snorkeling, I was rather cold and wanted to have something warm. I stayed hungry until we finally came back to Cruz Bay.
I asked for a $25 refund for the misinformation and inconvenience I suffered, and they promptly refunded me with an apology, which was nice.
In terms of snorkeling locations, since this was a boat tour, I automatically assumed that both locations were somewhere offshore only reachable by a boat. But I was rather disappointed to discover that one of them was Maho Bay which was only 5 miles driving from Cruz Bay. Since I was staying on St John for a week with a rental car, I had been there multiple times. There was no point for me to pay for a boat ride there. The snorkeling spot was right by the beach where I had been. I wish they gave me a warning when I signed up at Cruz Bay. The other snorkeling location Great St James island was new to me, and I enjoyed seeing many corals and fish there.

We did the Do It All experience and it was the highlight of my trip! It was my first time snorkeling so i didn't know what to expect but it was a lot of fun and the area is gorgeous! Having pizza delivered to us and enjoying a sunset dance party on the boat topped off the evening!

We had a great time fishing with Captain Davis. He was very helpful and explained everything very well. We were on 4 hour inshore fishing trip, bottom fishing over reefs. The wind was blowing pretty hard and the water was fairly rough but he did what he could to put us on fish. We caught quite a few fish despite the rough water. Davis did what he could to find us some calmer water and we definitely enjoyed ourselves. We caught a nice variety of fish with just a few shown in the pictures. Thanks again for a great time and I will definitely go with you again when we come back!

My wife and I booked a 8 hour private fishing charter with Ocean Surfari Charters. Both captain Ben and Davis took us out and put us on some very nice fish. Both captains were extremely friendly and had great energy. Both very knowledgeable captains answering all of my questions about fish and the island. Felt very safe on the boat and had a great time fishing with them both. I would also like to mention the music they played on the boat was outstanding. Never heard a song that I didn’t like. Keeping it fun changing the songs to match every situation we encountered was a very fun touch that made the trip that much more enjoyable. They cleaned and bagged all the fish we caught. A fun extra thing that make the end of the trip extra memorable, with the fish scraps form your catch you get to feed both sharks and tarpons! Very fun way to end an awesome trip. If you ever find yourself in Saint Thomas I would highly recommend ocean Surfari Charters. But make sure you ask for captain Ben or Davis and you are bound to have a great trip!
